Sharapova Off With A Good Start

The memory of early exit from last year's Australian Open is still fresh. Sharapova played nervously at the start of the match but pretty much cruised to easily win her first match here since 2008 Australian Open match with Ana Ivanovic (6-1, 6-3).

Note: Do I need to say this? Sharapova's dress rocks! She is soooo hot in this one...

Wozniacki Wins First Slam Match With No. 1 Ranking

Wearing her Stella McCartney-designed ballerina dress in her first Grand Slam match with a No. 1 world ranking, Caroline Wozniacki (DEN) defeated Gisela Dulko (ARG) by scores of 6-3 and 6-4.

Lakers Vs. Heat: WAGs Edition

We all know the Heat destroyed the Lakers in their first meeting last Christmas (Heat 96 - Lakers 80). The Lakers was embarrassed in their home court by the new "Big Three" of Miami. James posted a triple-double (27 Points, 11 Rebounds, 10 Assists) beating Kobe's poor shooting night (17 Points, 6 Rebounds, 7 Assists). It seems like Christmas always belong to LeBron James. The self-proclaimed "King" also defeated the Lakers during the 2009 Christmas when he is still a Cavalier (Cavs 102 - Lakers 87).

Anyway let's go back to the topic. This time it's their wives and girlfriends (WAGs) fighting for the "Best NBA Team WAGs of 2010-11 Season".

I'm not an expert to say which is more beautiful or which is hotter but I like to share my opinion on this one. Please tell me your personal choices. This is a head-to-head battle!!!

Mike Miller's Wife Jennifer Vs. Lamar Odom's Chloe Kardashian

Obviously for me Chloe is hotter although her sisters are way hotter than her.
Lakers 1 - Heat 0

Mario Chalmers' Tiffany Vs. Shannon Brown's Monica
I think both of these girls are beautiful but this one is difficult for me because I really don't like both of them. I don't want to have a draw here so I think I'll choose Tiffany...
Lakers 1 - Heat 1

Chris Bosh' Girlfriend Adrienne Williams Vs. Pau Gasol's Girlfriend Silvia Lopez Castro
This is an easy pick for me. Aside from knowing that Adrienne's height is 5'0 (imagine the 2 feet difference with CB), there's no more things to say. I think she is cute and that's it... On the other hand, Silvia is a 21-year-old dancer, who is a cheerleader for FC Barcelona's travelling dance troup Dream Cheers. Gasol's cheerleader is way too hot...
Lakers 2 - Heat 1

LeBron James's girlfriend Savannah Brinson Vs. Ron Artest's Wife Kimsha
I think the King's Savannah is the winner in this face-off. Savannah is like a sweet teenager with a cute face (opposite of LBJ). Kimsha is kinda a little too much "mother" image for me (synonym for mature). The Heat got this one!
Lakers 2 - Heat 2

Last but not the least...

Dwyane Wade's Gabrielle Union Vs. Kobe's Vanessa Laine
This one is definitely up for debate. I really don't know which one to choose! Gabrielle Union is an actress/model that became famous for her roles in "Bring It On" and "Bad Boys II". According to her, she dated Jason Kidd in high school. She married NFL's former running back Chris Howard and got divorced in 2006. On the other hand, Vanessa Laine was working as a backup dancer when Bryant met her.
Okay!!! Enough of the introductions! My pick for this one is the Black Mamba's Vanessa Laine. I know some of you will have a violent reaction on this. But being married for 11 years, having 2 daughters and still have a beautiful face and a hot body like this, I think she deserve this win!

LAKERS 3 - HEAT 2

I hate to say it but the defending champions' WAGs still  rules this one.

Lifeless Lakers' Hope For Another 3peat Fading...

Let's set the record straight! I am a Lakers fan.
No! That's inaccurate! I am a true Lakers follower!!! Lakers for life! And with that said, still I am not blind to see all the mistakes, weaknesses, and mental lapses of the defending champions this 2010-11 regular season.

Let's review each games of the Champs this season by.
Losses: 11
1. Denver by 6 points
2. Suns by 5 points
3. Jazz by 6 points
4. Pacers by 3 points
5. Grizzlies by 2, 19 points respectively
6. Rockets by 10 points
7. Bulls by 4 points
8. Bucks by 19 points
9. Heat by 16 points
10. Spurs by 15 points

Wins: 26
1. Rockets by 2 points
2. Suns by 8, 4 points respectively
3. Warriors by 24, 28 points respectively
4. Grizzlies by 19 points
5. Kings by 12, 33 points respectively
6. Raptors by 5, 10 points respectively
7. Blazers by 25 points
8. Timberwolves by 5, 17 points respectively
9. Bucks by 11 points
10. Pistons by 13, 25 points respectively
11. Bulls by 7 points
12. Wizards by 7, 14 points respectively
13. Clippers 1 points
14. Nets by 7 points
15. Pacers by 15 points
16. Sixers by 12, 4 points respectively
17. Hornets by 15, 4 points respectively

Wins/Losses Highlights:
*Only 4/26 wins are against above 0.5 PCT teams.
*Only 7/26 wins are against "current" playoff contender teams.
*The overall average of the teams that they defeated is 0.381 PCT.
*5/11 losses are against above 0.5 PCT teams.
This means that the Lakers' current percentage of winning against above 0.5 PCT teams is 44.44%. This is a
big "slap in the face" for the defending champions!!!
*5/11 losse are against "current" playoff contender teams.
*The overall average of the teams that defeated the champs is 0.550 PCT!!!

Based on these performances by the Lakers, we can safely conclude that they are currently playing without life, without heart, and certainly without motivation... How I wish to see the same Lakers in 2009, hungry for rings!!!

I still see the defending champions to step-up during the playoffs where the real basketball happens but with their current lifeless plays, I think there are more adjustments and improvements to do in order for them to return to their playoff shape.

*Gasol should stop playing like a baby! Start playing tough!!! Don't be pushed around and be effective down low. Instead crying for having few touches, demand the ball during plays and learn to create your own  effective ways to score. Be consistent!

*Kobe is still Kobe. This is always my answer to comments saying Kobe is taking more shots lately. Kobe always take more shots. That is Kobe and nothing is new here! And if you're blaming him for losses, I think you just don't get it. Don't forget that they win because he takes many shots.

*Odom is the most consistent... Consistent for being not consistent!!! Focus in your game for once and stop thinking about your Kardashian!

*The killer B's (Brown, Blake, Barnes, Bynum) should work more aggressively and stay healthy and hungry for rings! I think Brown and Blake are playing just fine. Unfortunately, Barnes will be undergoing an MRI due to sprained right knee. Bynum should start playing like Shaq during the 3peat of Kobe-Shaq era.
*Lastly, Phil should beat the crap out of these lifeless Lakers psychologically.

P.S.
I would like to see the Lakers-Heat clash in the finals, but I know they won't survive the "Real Big Three" of the East... No! Not Garnet, Pierce & Allen! They are the Celtics, Magic, and Bulls!
